¶ Flash System Image (eMMC)
This procedure restores the system image to the printer eMMC module.
¶ Hardware Requirements
- eMMC module (minimum 8 GB)
- eMMC adapter
- SD card reader (USB)
¶ Software Requirements
¶ System image download
Select the correct system image for your printer model:
- QIDI Plus 4 Image for eMMC
- QIDI Max 3 / Plus 3 Image for eMMC
- QIDI Smart 3 Image for eMMC
- QIDI Q1 Image for eMMC
- QIDI Q2 Image for eMMC
¶ Flashing software
Install one of the following tools:

¶ Flash Procedure
¶ Step 1 — Connect the eMMC module
- Insert the eMMC module into the eMMC adapter.
- Connect the adapter to the SD card reader.
- Insert the SD card reader into the PC.
¶ Step 2 — Flash the system image
- Extract (unzip) the downloaded system image file.
- Open balenaEtcher.
- Select the extracted image file.
- Select the correct target disk.
- Click Flash to begin.
Wait for the flashing process to complete before removing the device.
Important: After flashing the system image, update the printer to the latest firmware version.
