This guide explains two methods for loading filament on the X-Plus 4:
The following steps use official PLA filament as an example.
Insert the filament into the feeding port outside the printer.
Push it forward until it enters the toolhead and cannot be pushed further.

Tap Load on the touchscreen.

Select the filament printing temperature.
For PLA, use 220 °C as an example.
Tap Next to continue.

Observe the nozzle and confirm that filament extrudes smoothly.
Continuous extrusion indicates successful loading.

Insert the filament into the feeding port outside the printer.
Push it forward until it enters the toolhead and cannot be pushed further.

Tap the temperature area shown in the image to adjust the nozzle temperature.

Set the nozzle temperature for the filament.
For PLA, use 220 °C as an example.

When the nozzle reaches the set temperature, tap the right arrow to extrude filament.
Observe the nozzle during extrusion.

Confirm that filament extrudes smoothly from the nozzle.
This indicates that filament loading is complete.
