Poor first-layer adhesion is one of the most common printing issues.
A properly bonded first layer is essential because all subsequent layers rely on it as a foundation. If the first layer does not adhere correctly, the print may fail.
If the first layer does not stick to the build plate, the nozzle-to-build plate distance may be incorrect.
Example of poor adhesion (nozzle too far from the build plate):

Below are examples of first-layer conditions:

If gaps appear between first-layer lines during printing, the nozzle is too far from the build plate.

The Z offset defines the distance between the nozzle and the build plate.
Recommended adjustment method:
Note:
- There is a short delay after each adjustment.
- Do not tap repeatedly too quickly.
- The adjusted value is saved automatically.

A dirty or greasy surface can cause adhesion problems.
