It must be intresting if we can add text to our model.fortunately,QIDISlicer provide us the choice to make that to be true.
- Import project file in.
- Right click the model.
- Move to Add part option then click the Text option
- Fine tune detail of the text in emboss dialog.
¶ Advanced
We can click 'Advanced' button pointed out above,then we can see a more detailed emboss dialog.
There are some description about part of it.
¶ Use surface
If Use surface option get selected,the text would fit snugly on the surface,otherwise they would not bent anyway.
¶ Char gap
Chat gap option represent the distance of every single letter.
The following figure shows the comparison of 3d text in different char gap cases.
(The upper one is set to 1083 points,the lower one is set to 0 points)
¶ Rotation
Modifing rotation parameter,we can easily change the orientation of 3d text.
