For smaller parts, users can assemble them in QIDI Studio software before printing.
The software provides users with two assembly methods: face and face assembly, point and point assembly.
¶ Face and face assembly
- Select two objects and combine them together.
- Select a separate face from each object and merge the two objects into one.
- Parallel: If the faces selected are not parallel, you can click parallel to make them parallel. Then, you can specify the parallel distance between the faces.
- Center coincidence: Join the two faces together to assemble the objects.
- Flip by Face 2: Flip object 2 along the face 2.
¶ Point and point assembly
Combine the two objects into one object, and select two points on each of the two objects, then specify the distance between them.
Note: If not combined, each individual object must have one face adhered to the build plate, and the height in the Z direction cannot be adjusted. And you need to hold down the Shift key when selecting arbitrary points on the plane.
